    The Book That Actually Explains the Why

    Understanding the HCG diet made all the difference for me and this book is the reason why. Dr. Zach breaks it down in a way that actually makes sense — it's not just about eating less, it's about eating smart. Once you get the reasoning behind the protocol, sticking to it becomes so much easier. Almost 1000 reviews on Amazon for a reason. If you're serious about HCG, this is your starting point.

    Thank you for this—seriously, this is exactly why I wrote HCG 2.0.


    So many people approach the HCG diet thinking it’s just about eating less, when in reality it’s about understanding how to eat smart, structure your meals, and work with your metabolism. Once that clicks, the entire HCG protocol becomes not only easier to follow, but far more effective.


    I’m especially glad you pointed out the why behind it—that’s the difference between short-term dieting and sustainable weight loss success. When you understand what your body is doing, compliance stops feeling like willpower and starts feeling like strategy.


    And you’re right—there’s a reason HCG 2.0 continues to resonate with so many people. My goal has always been to simplify the science and give people a clear, practical roadmap they can actually follow in real life.

    An easy read with plenty of information, though some points are revisited throughout for emphasis

    An easy read, took me 5-6 hours. An easier approach to HCG than Original Protocol. Higher calorie count based on .4 of your BMR, only eat protein/low carb veggies, only count protein calories and focus on staying in ketosis (<30 carbs) and balancing omega 3 & 6. No fruit or melba toast. Incorporate zero sugar things like an afternoon Diet Coke if you must to stay on plan. -Something to read if you�re like me and need to zealously immerse yourself in diet changes in order to keep yourself on track.-Author seems relatable, self-aware & realistic.

    Back on Track: 80 lbs Lost Before, Ready to Win Again!

    I'm interested in the Pellets and HCG patches combo. I am allergic to Mango so Curb is not an option. I previously did the HCG2.0 based on your book in 2021 and lost 80 lbs. However, due to a severe bike accident and long Covid, I gained 23 lbs back.

    Great Book!

    So happy someone finally updated this diet so it's truly low carb. So many more veggie choices now. I have lost 110 lbs on the "traditional" hCg diet and would like to lose 20 more. This updated version will make it much easier to shed these last few pounds. Thanks Dr. Zach!!
