Weight Loss for Bride AND Groom
Spring is here and that means wedding season. Both bride and groom alike are looking to shed some of the winter weight for the big day. There are plenty of weight loss options, but I strongly believe that none are as quick and as effective as my HCG 2.0 diet plan, especially for men. The traditional HCG diet, as described by Dr. Simeons in his manuscript Pounds and Inches; A New Approach to Obesity, has often scared men off due the the extreme restrictions on calories. A 500 calorie diet is not sustainable for men. – It’s hardly sustainable for a small woman.
HCG 2.0 uses a BMR calculation to determine the amount of protein calories in each individualized diet. Your BMR or basal metabolic rate are the amount of calories one needs to maintain normal, at rest body function. This calculation is based on gender, age, height and weight and is in opposition to the traditional HCG diet which allowed only 500 calories per dieter, whether man or woman, big or small. As an example, a 6’3″ man weighing 260 pounds will have a BMR of 2425 calories. Which translates to 970 protein calories on the diet. This is determined by multiplying your BMR by .4 which represents the fact that 40% of your daily diet should be protein, accompanied by 40% fat with a 1:1 ratio of Omega 3s to Omega 6s and only 20% carbs. I know I promised there would be no math, but these numbers are explained and simplified in my book. The diet is really quite simple, outside of keeping track of your protein calories using the protein charts provided in the book and/or mobile app, you just keep your carb count under 30 grams per day. Simple!
If you and your fiance are looking to quickly lose 20 -30 pounds prior to your wedding day, you won’t be disappointed with HCG 2.0. Men typically lose 1 to 2 pounds per day, while women are generally in the .5 to 1 pound per day. Add the Raspberry Ketones to you diet to accelerate your weight loss. No, they’re not necessary for your success, but I’m hearing very good things from my patients that are using them in combination with their HCG 2.0 diet protocol.
