Balsamic Burgers

About the Recipe

These burgers are yummy and should be made with 93% lean beef or bison


  • 7 oz. lean ground beef

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1/4 tsp pepper

  • 2 tsp balsamic vinegar

  • 2 tsp dijon mustard

  • 1 small onion

  • 2 large lettuce leaves


  • Heat a small pan over medium heat. Slice the onion to desired width of rings. Add the onion and a couple Tbs of water to the pan, saute until golden brown and set aside. You may have to add more water as they cook to deglaze and avoid burning.

  • Combine the ground beef, garlic powder, salt, pepper, balsamic vinegar, and dijon mustard in a bowl and mix until thoroughly combined.

  • Divide the beef mixture into 2 separate equal portions and shape into patties.

  • Cook on grill or pan on medium high heat. Cook for 5-7 minutes on both sides or to desired wellness.

  • Finally, set burger on top lettuce leaf and top that with the sauteed onions. Add a lettuce leaf on top and enjoy!
