About the Recipe
These burgers are yummy and should be made with 93% lean beef or bison
7 oz. lean ground beef
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
2 tsp balsamic vinegar
2 tsp dijon mustard
1 small onion
2 large lettuce leaves
Heat a small pan over medium heat. Slice the onion to desired width of rings. Add the onion and a couple Tbs of water to the pan, saute until golden brown and set aside. You may have to add more water as they cook to deglaze and avoid burning.
Combine the ground beef, garlic powder, salt, pepper, balsamic vinegar, and dijon mustard in a bowl and mix until thoroughly combined.
Divide the beef mixture into 2 separate equal portions and shape into patties.
Cook on grill or pan on medium high heat. Cook for 5-7 minutes on both sides or to desired wellness.
Finally, set burger on top lettuce leaf and top that with the sauteed onions. Add a lettuce leaf on top and enjoy!
