This is a question I get quite frequently and I don’t even know why I answer it, because nobody listens anyway. In Elizabeth’s defense, she asked me after the fact, but most dieters that have a lot of weight to lose just rush back into their second, third and forth rounds without taking the appropriate time off. And often is the case, I get blamed for their lack of success, as you can see.
Why is it necessary to take an adequate amount of time off in between rounds? Take a look at my response to Elizabeth’s question. In case the font in the image above is too small to read, I cut and pasted the content of Elizabeth’s email below.
I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to let you know that my husband Steve and I started on a round of HCG 2.0 drops the end of January or beginning of February. We both were amazed at the weight loss experienced- but what really impressed both of us even more is the energy we got from the hcg drops we purchased from you. We did the 23 day round and stopped for a month. When we started our second round the same thing happened. We both dropped weight easily and had tons of energy. A week ago, we started our 3rd round of the drops. We did the same protocol as always- we had taken drops for 21 days and then waited 21 days before beginning again. This time though we are very very slow to lose weight…and we are not feeling any energy boost at all. My husband told me this morning that he feels like these are not the same drops we have gotten before. Could it be that we could of gotten a bad batch or something? We raved to all of our friends and a few of them are now ordering drops from you…..and we hope they are getting a good quality of the drops too.
Hi Elizabeth. I’m really sorry to hear you’re not having as much success this time. I really don’t think the problem is with the HCG drops. They’re manufactured at an FDA approved homeopathic provider and their protocols are very well supervised. To give you an example, this would be like Advil or Tylenol making a bad batch of aspirin, so I don’t think that’s the case. Here’s what I think the problem is…
I’m not sure if you recall the section in my book where I compare the prescription HCG to the Homeopathic HCG, but in that section, I mentioned patients that have a lot of weight to lose and as a result, must do multiple rounds of the diet. When they’re getting into their 3rd or 4th round, sometimes there is an over-saturation point where the body has been so exposed to HCG over a short amount of time, that it develops a tolerance to it, almost like an immunity. I think that might be what has happened in your case. In the book, I suggested trying a round with a prescription HCG product, but that might cost you between $800 to $1000 between you and your husband both. The other alternative, unfortunately, is to take 6-8 weeks off and start again with the loading following your break. I know that’s not what you wanted to hear, but it’s the reality. Let me know if you have any more questions and how you want to proceed. I’d be happy to give you a buy one get one free deal if you want to resume in a couple of months.
I know summer is right around the corner and you want to look your best, but don’t continue to frustrate yourself with the little progress that you’re making now. My advice is to go on maintenance and maybe add the Garcinia Cambogia. I’d also be happy to give you a buy one get one free on that too. Just let me know. Talk soon.
I don’t make this stuff up. I’m just the messenger. In other words, don’t hate the player, hate the game. There is an HCG guru that calls herself HCG Chica that I occasionally follow and you might want to check her out, too. She’s lost a lot of weight with the traditional HCG diet, and is pretty loyal to it, but she has a good timetable regarding when to start additional rounds of the HCG diet. Her video is worth checking out.
I hope I haven’t come across as angry, but it can be frustrating when my product get’s blamed as a result of user error. Best of luck.
