The Original HCG Diet Is Just Plain Old – There’s a Better Way

These flaws are the reason why I created HCG 2.0. Did you know that Dr. Simeons (the creator of the original diet), used the HCG diet as an in-clinic procedure? Meaning, if he put you on the diet, you came into his clinic everyday and were directly supervised by him.

Why is that? Because the original diet allows for just 500 calories per day. Whether you’re 4’10” or 7’8″. Whether you weight 200 lbs or 400 lbs. Whether you’re male or female. 500 calories… that’s it.

As you might be able to imagine, this amount of calories is actually incredibly dangerous for a lot of people. In fact, being limited to this tiny portion of food daily, can actually cause you to go into early starvation. This is why Dr. Simeons personally supervised his patients. To make sure they kept their health while they were on the diet.

Fast forward to today

We still have the original HCG diet around. However… it is no longer an in-clinic procedure. Just about anyone can order an HCG supplement online, and follow the 500 calorie procedure. The HCG diet has such a high fail rate, because most people can’t stand the hunger. They can’t stand the feeling of starvation for the entire course of the diet. And in the rare chance that they can… they gain all the weight back as soon as the diet is over.

So how is HCG 2.0 different?

Well, when Dr. Simeons was alive, there was no such thing as “food science”. Today, there is. With food science, we know exactly what certain types of foods do in the body. It turns out that many of Dr. Simeons ideas about calories and weight gain, were dead wrong.

HCG 2.0 uses food chemistry and a BMR calculator to determine exactly how much food you can have per day. So based on YOU, you get a set amount of calories you can eat per day. It’s an amount that will keep you in ketosis (fat-melting mode), but also keep you satisfied.

Also, in my book I write about foods that are better to eat than others. If you eat these foods, you can eat a lot more of them than other foods Dr. Simeons recommends. And lose the exact same amount of weight. In fact, many of my patients report losing more weight on HCG 2.0.

And it’s a lot easier to stick with.
