In short, Phyto Nutrition is plant based food. Fruits and vegetables. Phyto-nutrients make up all the vitamins and minerals the body needs to catalyze each and every bio-chemical reaction. That being said, they provide zero nutritional value. So if you provide the nutrition- adequate protein, adequate fats (ideally with a 1:1 of Omega 3 to 6 and 9s), Phyto Plus will do the rest.
It bridges the gap between a busy schedule and the plant based food needed to maintain optimal health.
The most fundamental principle of weight loss is calorie reduction. Fewer calories equals weight loss, right? What this fundamental principle fails to recognize is the quality of your calories. Is eliminating or reducing healthy calories a good idea?
The Standard American Diet, appropriately accronym’d SAD, is full of empty, useless calories. These empty calories provide fuel, they’ll keep the engine running, but what they fail to provide is nutrition. And the human body craves nutrition.
Hunger is your body’s way of telling you that it is in need of nutrition. If you don’t provide that nutrition, the hunger will continue. This pattern of improperly addressing your hunger with the wrong calories is what leads to weight gain. In this regard, maintaining a healthy weight is more about calorie replacement rather than calorie reduction. Replacing the carb heavy fuel with nutritionally rich calories will result in satiety. Wouldn’t it be nice to finally feel full?
Why You’ll Finally Feel Full with Phyto Plus?
The problem with phytonutrition is that it’s hard to get an adequate amount of it. It’s even more difficult to acquire the proper variety. Furthermore, Phyto-nutrients derived from fruit are often loaded with carbohydrates and sugar. While I’m never comfortable telling patients to minimize fruit, if the goal is weight loss, it has to be done.
With these needs in mind, I created Phyto Plus, pictured below with Collagen Plus to form our InsideOut Package. It’s a whole food vitamin supplement with all the basics, PLUS some exotic plants and roots that I’ve encountered throughout my work experience in Southeast Asia and South America.
I designed it for my weight loss patients to help remedy their skewed satiety response. When taken in combination with my HCG diet protocol, it gives you everything you need to satiate your hunger, minus the the calorie-heavy carbs.
So you’ll feel full on the most minimal amount of calories. I call it smart weight loss. Why struggle with calorie deprivation when you can eat smart?
Whole Food Supplement Vs. Over-the-Counter Vitamins
First, let’s define a whole food. A whole food is a food that is unprocessed or unrefined. If you’ve ever heard someone tell you to shop the perimeters, the reason is because most of the whole foods are located on the perimeters. Any fruit or vegetable would be considered a whole food.
Therefore, a whole food supplement is a supplement derived from a whole food. It’s the actual fruit are vegetable in a dehydrated state with all of the water and carbohydrates removed. By removing the water and carbs, you get all the vitamins and minerals without the excess sugar that only adds to weight gain.
Over-the-counter vitamins, the types you find at Wal-Mart or the CVS, are often produced in a laboratory. Vitamin C for example is also know as Ascobic Acid. The Ascorbic Acid molecule might look identical to Vitamin C derived from an orange, but it’s not absorbed the same way. It’s much less efficient. This is why wholefood supplements beat traditional vitamins. It’s also the reason wholefood supplements are more expensive. They’re real food. They’re not mass produced in a lab.
Will Phyto Plus Help You Lose Weight?
Not directly. It’s not a weight loss supplement. But it will result in less hunger throughout the day. It does this by addressing your bodies basic nutritional needs. If these needs are met, your body will reward you with a feeling of satiety and fullness.
What I like to say is that Phyto Plus+ bridges the gap between the ideal diet and what is actually attainable as a result of our busy schedules. Let’s face it, life often get’s in the way, even in regard to our diet. In fact, especially in regard to our diet. Often, the poor foods we eat are not our foods of choice, but our foods of convenience. Eat and run, right? It’s a shame because we’re well intention-ed, but we just can’t find the time.
All this being said, my first recommendation is to MAKE the time to eat healthy. After all, is there any other activity in your life that you do 3 times per day EVERY single day? No. So in order to maintain a healthy weight, make your diet more of a priority.
Second, get yourself on Phyto Plus. It’ll bridges that gap. When you’re having one of those rough days and grabbing and going, at least you’ll have the peace of mind in knowing you’re getting all the vitamins and minerals you need to keep the engine running at optimal efficiency. It’s also loaded with powerful antioxidants.
And the cool thing about Phyto is that it’s not a just a supplement, it’s a nutritional cocktail. Empty the capsule into a 10 oz bottle of water and you have all the necessary greens you need in beverage form. It tastes good and it actually feels a bit like a meal. Try it for yourself.
All the Phyto Basics PLUS So Cool Exotics
The body has basic demands. I addressed all of those with Phyto Plus, but I also added a few exotics that will take your health above and beyond just basic.
Maca Root Peruano is a root grown high in the Andes Mountains of Peru and has an extraordinary amount of healing properties. It’s widely consumed among the Peruvians to boost virility and improve sexual health. Peruvians often add it to their morning juice. For women, it’s taken to improve mood and reduce the negative side-effects of menopause. It’s also been shown to improve cognitive function and memory and is currently being studied as a possible treatment for Alzheimer’s Disease.
Wheatgrass is a flat out super-food. I had heard about the wheatgrass trend before moving to Vietnam, but seeing it used in practice, by all classes of Vietnamese, absolutely sold me. It’s now one of my staples and I can’t be more grateful that it is. There are so many things to say about wheatgrass, but what I find most intriguing is it’s abundance of chlorophyll. Cholophyll is what gives vitality and life to the plants and trees that produce our oxygen. Whenever I have a wheatgrass juice, I feel like I’m harnessing that vitality. You will too.
Acai Berries are also quite trendy, and for a reason. The word is synonymous with antioxidants and the Brazilians are crazy for it. You wanna know why Brazilians don’t age? It’s the Acai Berries.
Spirulina is a super-food of the ancient Aztecs of Mexico. It has powerful antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties, but Spirulina is most commonly take to lower cholesterol levels.
The remaining ingredients in Phyto Plus are listed below. I put a lot of thought into this. After someone loses 20-30 pounds in 30-40 days on my HCG 2.0 diet plan, they have a lot of apprehension about keeping the weight off.
First of all, keeping the weight off is a really good problem to have. Second, there is certainly some lifestyle change required in order to maintain your weight loss, but be smart about it. Don’t beat yourself up with calorie reduction alone. Give your body what it needs and it will reward you.
