Why HCG 2.0?
Simply put, there are too many carbs on the traditional HCG diet and not enough protein. The ONLY way to tap into your unwanted fat reserves is through a healthy metabolic process called Ketosis and this can only be achieved by limiting carbs. On a given day on the traditional HCG diet you may consume up to 260 calories in carbs. Even with the assistance of HCG, this amount of carbs will not facilitate an optimal level of ketosis thus resulting in two adverse effects on your weight loss…
You’ll be hungry. If you’re not being supplied with calories from unwanted fat reserves as in the state of ketosis, you’ll be hungry. When you’re in an optimal state of ketosis, you’re being provided with ketone calories from stored fat. As a result, you’re body will respond with a feeling of satiety as it assumes that these calories that are flooding your system are from a meal that you’ve consumed. This is the appetite suppressant effect of the HCG.
If you’re not in an optimal state of ketosis, you’re not targeting your problem areas and therefore not losing the weight that you want to lose.
