Maintain Your Weight Loss with My All Natural Appetite Suppressant CURB

Maintain Your Weight Loss with My All Natural Appetite Suppressant CURB

Updated: Feb 5

A public relations executive out of Chicago recently completed my HCG 2.0 protocol using my HCG Patches and she lost almost 30 pounds in her first round. She messaged me via Facebook group to show her appreciation for the protocol and all the help she received from my staff. Since then, she hasn't stopped with the questions. She's now using my all natural appetite suppressant called CURB and she's still losing. The good news is that she's determined to make InsideOut Wellness a household brand by sharing my responses with her media contacts. Below are the questions she had about CURB.

What led to the creation of CURB?

CURB was first introduced to my patients as a maintenance product. When you lose 20-30 pounds in 30-40 days, which is the typical weight loss with my HCG 2.0 protocol, your body will be very determined to replenish its fat reserves.

Keep in mind that storing away calories in our fat cells is a primitive defense mechanism against long winters and famine. That's why losing weight can be such a struggle. Not only are you battling the unfortunate condition known as the Standard American Diet (SAD), but you're also battling your own genetic predisposition to retain calories in the form of fat.

As I tell my patients, maintaining weight loss is a good problem to have, but it's a problem nonetheless, and it's a problem that I wanted to solve. In order to help my patient during this critical period following their weight loss, I wanted to give them a product that would both decrease their appetite, while enhancing metabolism and energy. Frequently, people eat out of boredom as well. So, I also wanted something that would enhance focus.

CURB is an extension of my philosophy that maintaining a healthy weight is not merely about calorie reduction. It's also, in a larger part, about giving your body the proper nutrition it needs so that it will reward you with a healthy satiety response – while also providing you with adequate energy and focus.

If you continue to eat SAD calories for every meal, you’ll continue to be tired and hungry all the time, but you'll still gain weight. Most of the obese population in the US is also very sedentary and malnourished. Certainly, a SAD situation.

This is what I wanted to remedy with CURB. Based on the feedback from those who have used CURB, it’s been working very well. But, the product is still a work in progress. The next phase of CURB will also contain Ginko Biloba and Ginseng. It's already a great product, but I want to add more brain health.

What kind of research did you do to develop CURB?

It’s the same kind of research that I always do. I literally travel the globe to explore the health and wellness remedies of indigenous people all over the world.

For example, both CURB and my Phyto Plus product contain Maca from the high elevations of the Andes Mountains. I used to put a scoop of Maca in my jugo (mixed and blended juice) every morning when I lived in Peru. Phyto Plus also contains wheatgrass from Vietnam (I spent a year in Ho Chi Minh City seeing patients and learning TCM) and Acai from Brazil.

CURB contains  many natural plants and herbs from my travels in South East Asia including Moringa (miracle plant), Garcinia Cambogia fruit, and Turmeric (great natural anti-inflammatory). I've never been to Africa, but the Indonesian mango has a lot of the same properties as the African mango. The leaves of the African mango act as a natural stimulant. They suppress appetite, boost metabolism and increase focus. The African mango is the linchpin of the product. The Green Tea Extract is critical as well.

All that said, I don't have to personally encounter something to add it to one of my supplements. Take Focus Vesiculous for example. It's great for thyroid health. Or some of the homeopathic ingredients in CURB such as Calcarea Carbonica, or natural minerals such as chromium polynicotinate. If the physiology makes sense, and if the biochemistry is there, then I like to see it in practice. I'll try it myself. I'll suggest it to my staff for their thoughts and feedback. I’ll post about it in our private Facebook group to see if anyone in the group has experience using it. Once I see it in practice, and know that it’s getting the expected results, then I'll pass it along to my manufacturer.

As a side note, I'm slowly completing a master’s degree in Nutrition and Human Performance from Logan University, where I received my Chiropractic Degree, but for the most I just listen. I listen and learn from my patients. My next project I’m launching is The Pomelo Plan. Remember the grapefruit diet of the 80s? I'm bringing it back with real deal pomelos from Vietnam. Boiling pomelo rinds into a tea is the weight loss secret of the women of the countryside in Vietnam. The American grapefruit is a cross between the Southeast Asian pomelo and a blood orange. The SEA pomelos are legit. It’s all explained in my blog called CPT1 - The Magic Ingredient in the Vietnamese Pomelo.

What are the ingredients in CURB and how do they work to curb the appetite?

Please see below, and please note: There are no manufactured stimulants and no caffeine. The ingredients are all natural with nothing artificial.

  1. Wild African Mango (Irvingia Gabonensis), Saffron and Ginger - Helps to lower cholesterol, suppresses appetite and emotional eating, elevates good mood (serotonin) and speeds up the metabolism. Cleanses the body and blood.

  2. Cayenne Pepper - Boosts metabolism and helps burns fat.

  3. Wasabi (spice root) - Suppresses appetite and is a natural anti-inflammatory.

  4. Selenium and Vitamin B - Helps under active thyroid and thyroid balance.

  5. Cinnamon and Jamun - Stimulates insulin activity and balances blood sugar.

  6. Chromium Polynicotinate - A mineral that is involved in carbohydrate, protein and fat metabolism. Blocks sugar cravings.

  7. Fenugreek Seeds - High-fiber content appetite suppressant. Also contributes to blood sugar balance.

  8. Sphaeranthus Indicus (flower heads) and Garcinia Mangostana Fruit (fruit rind) – These two ingredients both do the following in different ways in the body: reduces appetite, blocks cravings, help blocks fat from being stored in the body, purifies blood of toxic waste, cleans skin of toxins, balances hormones for men and women, reduces inflammation, reduces anxiety, increases metabolism and energy levels, and burns fat.

  9. L-Carnitine - Removes ammonia from the body and regulates the release of hormones. Transports fatty acids into cells to be burned for energy.

  10. Green Tea Extract - Lowers cholesterol levels and is a powerful antioxidant, helping the body burn more calories.

  11. Turmeric - Powerful anti-inflammatory and is a very strong antioxidant. Turmeric is added to make all of the ingredients work better in the body.

  12. L-Arginine - Causes blood vessels to open wider for improved blood flow and helps the body to absorb nutrients. It also helps to regulates hormones and blood sugar.

  13. L-Glutamine - Breaks down protein for the body to use.

  14. Chamomile - Relaxes the muscles and affects the central nervous system in positive ways.

  15. Moringa Plant – Moringa Oleifera - Has seven times the amount of vitamin C than in oranges, it has four times as much calcium and double the amount of protein than milk, four times the vitamin A in carrots and three times the potassium in bananas. This is a real super food that feeds and supports your cells and skin!

  16. Asparagus, Brussel Sprouts and Celery - Proven to be an extra appetite suppressant.

  17. Vitamin C - A staple. Good for every part of the body’s healthy function and makes everything absorb better.

  18. L-Ornithine - Makes urea, which removes nitrogen and ammonia from the body, eliminating toxins.

  19. Maca - Works to balance hormones. And is also said by the Peruvians to boost libido. "Dura! Dura!" The Peruvian woman would say to me with a smile as she scooped it into my jugos.

  20. Pygeum Africanum - Prevents hair loss.

  21. Beta-Alanine - Increases endurance and energy.

  22. Rhodoila - Increases resistance to physical and mental stress. I also have Rhodiola in my Zzz-Time all natural sleep aid. It's a great product. Zzz-Time also contains a daily dose of 5-HTP. It's the only all natural sleep aid with a mood support complex.

  23. Astragalus - Stimulates the immune system. It's a staple in Native American communities.

  24. Calcarea Carbonica - One of the original and oldest homeopathic remedies. Good for weight loss and improves low energy and poor muscle tone.

  25. Focus Vesiculous - Helps improve thyroid function.

  26. Amino Acid Complex - Excellent for muscle recovery.

  27. Spongia Tosta - Iodine and Bromine to address thyroid problems.

  28. Hypothalamus, Pituitary, Thyroid via Homeopathic - Thyroid hormone regulation.

  29. Colloidal Minerals from Humic Shale - Contains 72 organic minerals along with plant nutrients that I like to say is fertilizer fit for human consumption.

Curb is like my chili recipe. I toss in everything but the kitchen sink. The rest is up to you.

What do you mean by that? That the rest is up to you?

If you immediately resort to your old eating habits, the SAD eating habits mentioned earlier, the CURB patches aren't going to work a miracle for you. It's a synergistic process. If you're not giving your body the proper nutrition it requires, adequate protein, adequate fats (ideally with a 1:1 of Omega 3s to 6 and 9s), and all of the phytonutrition, or plant-based food, then the CURB patches aren't going to be very effective. Many of the natural vitamins and minerals in CURB are merely catalysts. They have no nutritional value. That means you have to provide the proper nutrients mentioned above in order for CURB to do its job.

What has been the response to CURB?

It's been great. I don't like to release a new product with a huge inventory order, because I don't know what the response is going to be. I'm not surprised that my first shipment flew off the shelves because we have a very loyal following. We have a small staff, but we're dedicated to the success of our customers. So, when we recommend something, people listen and want to try it. It did surprise me a bit when the second run flew off the shelves even faster than the first. And many were repeat customers. That's when I realized I was on to something.

How does CURB differ from other appetite suppressants?

To be honest, I was reluctant to bring an appetite suppressant to the market. They always sparked skepticism. But as my HCG 2.0 patients neared the end of their protocols, there was literally a feeling of panic. The HCG, but more importantly the HCG 2.0 protocol, the rules governed their behaviour for the previous 30 to 40 days was coming to an end, so they needed something. They needed peace of mind. They needed another card to play to give them the confidence they needed in order to keep the weight off during this critical period when their body is most determined to replenish its fat reserves. So, I tried to find a solution. CURB is as much about the peace of mind it provides as it is about the ingredients within. And sometimes that can make all the difference.

Why a Patch and not a pill?

Personally, I don't like pills. To me they have a pharma connotation which I despise. Yes, my Phyto Plus product is in capsule form, but two capsules can be poured into water or your favourite drink to make it a beverage. Additionally, transdermal absorption is more efficient, especially in regard to the B-vitamins. And it’s definitely more convenient.

A huge difference that I appreciated in the patients I saw in both South America and Asia is that they don’t want to take pills. Americans are the opposite. The western allopathic medical model is only about damage control. Medicine used to be an art. But following the discovery of Penicillin, certainly a life-saver, western medicine took a left turn and became almost solely about biochemistry. The best doctor in the world is the doctor inside of you. I try to incorporate the innate intelligence of the human body into my products. I want to accentuate the body’s natural healing capabilities. It all starts with nutrition.

Is there anything else you’d like to add?

There is no miracle pill to maintain a healthy weight. I'm sorry to say this, but it simply doesn't exist. The real key is to retrain or reboot your eating habits so that you acquire a taste for healthy, whole foods. You have to learn to enjoy eating healthy. If you always associate health and maintaining your weight with sacrifice, you'll always struggle with it. Taste is an acquired sense. Acquire a taste for healthy low-carb living and you'll never have to sacrifice!
